Liverpool boss Benitez: I would never coach Man Utd!

Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez has laughed off the prospect of succeeding Sir Alex Ferguson at Manchester United. Benitez, discussing his future with El Mundo Deportivo, was asked if he could ever see himself managing United.

"No way," replied Benitez. "I coach Liverpool, I'm a 'Red', I'm from Liverpool. The chance of joining United has never entered my mind. Never."

On the prospect of returning to Spain, Benitez added: "I am very happy at Liverpool and my family is settled. But it goes through our heads that the cycle will end soon, in football you know everything is decided by the results."
