Liverpool boss Benitez boasts better record than Ferguson

Tomorrow's clash with Manchester United will be Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez's 200th league game in charge.

Of his previous 199 games, Benitez has emerged triumphant in 113, giving him a win ratio of 56.78 per cent. And that is despite having to completely rebuild the squad when he arrived on Merseyside in 2004.

Manchester United gaffer Fergie had a similar task when he replaced Ron Atkinson in 1986.

Yet in his first 200 games, the Old Trafford manager picked up just 87 victories - a win ratio of only 43.5 per cent.
