Liverpool could land RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner for a cut-price fee at the end of the season, it has been revealed.
Werner has happily spoken of his wish to move to Anfield this summer.
Recent reports have suggested that Werner would be available for £51m, which must be paid before April before his price goes up - but according to German news outlet Sport1, Werner is actually available for £30m.
The 23-year-old German international is under contract with the Bundesliga side until 2023 but his relatively low release clause could see Liverpool press forward with a move sooner rather than later.
Werner has 27 goals in all competitions for Leipzig this season.
The forward also scored the only goal in his side's impressive win over Tottenham last week, to give Leipzig a big advantage going into the second leg of their last-16 clash.
