Liverpool have named EA Sports, the creator of the popular FIFA gaming title, as the club's official video games partner under a new multi-year deal, reports, www.sportspromedia.com/.
The agreement, which comes into effect from the start of the 2019/20 Premier League season, will see the games developer produce Liverpool-content specific to feature on the club's social channels.
Billy Hogan, Liverpool's managing director and chief commercial officer, said: "Both on and off the pitch, we always challenge ourselves to bring our fans around the world closer to the club that they love.
"Our partnership with EA Sports will enable us to give our supporters even more opportunities to engage with Liverpool FC through the innovative and exciting world of gaming. We look forward to working together over the next few years."
