Liverpool are banking on Luis Suarez is pushing for a move away from Ajax.
The Reds tabled a bid of £12.7 million, before the Dutch club rejected the offer by asking them to come back with a more "respectful" bid. The Telegraph says the Merseyside outfit are hoping that the Uruguay forward hands in a transfer request to ease the process.
It is believed that Suarez's current wages would be doubled, should he opt for a move to the Merseyside club.
