Liverpool backtrack on plans to sign replacement for Salah, Mane

Liverpool are NOT considering making a signing to cover the African Cup of Nations departures of Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah.

The Reds will have to do without their most important and prolific attackers for several Premier League games this season.

The two will be with Senegal and Egypt respectively during the tournament in January.

However, ESPN reports that manager Jurgen Klopp believes he has enough attacking options to handle their absence for that brief period.

Liverpool may believe their best chance at securing a top attacker is in the summer, not as a panic buy in January.
