The Uruguay international midfielder enjoyed an impressed campaign last season, attracting interest from across Europe.

TMW says Liverpool have approached Genoa about a price for Laxalt, but aren't alone.

Borussia Dortmund and Schalke 04 are also in contact with Genoa for the midfielder.

Laxalt, 24, was brought to Italy four years ago by Inter Milan.
