For Arsenal, there is Francisco Cagigao, a former Gunners and Barcelona B player who first spotted Cesc Fabregas before recommending him to chief scout Steve Rowley.

Liverpool chief scout Eduardo Macia has two men working in Spain - Paco de Gracia and Perico Campos. While, Chelsea lean on Juan Cruz Sol, who was influential in the capture last season of former Espanyol prospect Sergio Tejera.
