Liverpool have registered their interest with Inter Milan for Nicolo Barella.

Calciomercato journalist Enrico Camelio reports Liverpool reportedly made an approach for Barella but a move was swiftly dismissed by Inter Milan.

The Serie A club are looking to sell several first team players this summer as they look to reduce their debt.

Camelio says the Reds asked about the availability of Barella, but were quickly told he was not for sale.

The Italy international has impressed Reds chiefs at Euro 2020 this past month.
