Liverpool are no closer to finding an agreement with Lyon for Xherdan Shaqiri.

The Switzerland winger wants to depart the Anfield club this summer.

According to the Liverpool Echo, the Reds know of Shaqiri's desire and are willing to find a solution that works for all parties.

However, the Reds are not prepared to sell the 29-year-old on the cheap to Lyon.

At the very least, Liverpool want the £12 million they paid to sign Shaqiri from Stoke City three years ago.

The winger has two years remaining on his contract.
