Liverpool ahead of AC Milan, Juventus for PSV striker Donyell Malen

Liverpool are interested in PSV Eindhoven striker Donyell Malen.

Gazzetta dello Sport says Liverpool are leading AC Milan and Juventus the race to sign Malen this summer.

The Dutch forward is being targeted by the reigning Premier League champions and could go for as much as £30million this summer should PSV decide to cash in on him.

Liverpool face plenty of competition for Malen's signature but it is the Merseyside club who are favourites to land him.

The 22-year-old has seen is stock rise in recent years after establishing himself as one of the Eredivisie's most potent finishers.

Since leaving Arsenal in 2017, Malen has scored 51 goals in 110 appearances for PSV, with nearly half of that total coming this season with the Dutch giants sitting second behind another one of the player's former clubs, Ajax.

His performances in the Europa League have made a number of clubs sit up and take notice, which could spark a bidding war this summer.
