Liverpool have moved closer to signing Roma winger Mohamad Salah after the Egyptian agreed personal terms with the Merseyside club.
According to Sky Sports Italy, Salah met with Jurgen Klopp recently and an agreement was set in principle with the 24-year old and his representatives.
However, the transfer fee has yet to be agreed upon, with Roma already rejecting a £28m offer.
The clubs have not discussed the fee any further, with James Palotta, Roma's American chairman, recently telling a US radio stationthat, "for the moment, there is nothing with Liverpool. We'll see what to do".
Despite the chairman's stance, reports suggest Liverpool will return to Roma with a second bid of £35m.
