Liverpool have accepted a £13million bid from Stoke City for midfielder Joe Allen.
The Wales international has been linked with a move away from Anfield all summer and it appears as though the Britannia Stadium will be his next destination.
Reports suggest that the clubs have agreed the aforementioned fee after Potters chairman Peter Coates revealed that talks had taken place.
"I can confirm that we are in talks with Liverpool and we've discussed a potential deal," he said earlier on Wednesday.
Allen had been linked with former club Swansea City, as well as Spanish side Sevilla, but it looks as though he is set to team up with fellow Welshman Mark Hughes in Staffordshire after an impressive Euro2016 campaign which saw him make the Team of the Tournament.
