Mohamed Salah feels confident he'll back on the pitch soon after he recovers from catching COVID-19.

The Liverpool ace was on international duty with Egypt when he tested positive for the coronavirus.

And Salah has finally spoken out after the news broke via his Twitter page.

He tweeted: "I'd like to thank everyone for the supportive messages and well wishes. I'm confident I'll be back on the field soon."

Salah is self-isolating in Egypt and it is unknown when he can return to Liverpool.
