Liverpool ace Salah donates £30,000 to help build ambulance station

Liverpool ace Mohamed Salah has donated £30,000 to build an ambulance station in his hometown in Egypt.

Salah has paid for the facility to serve 30,000 people in Nagrig, which has been hit by the coronavirus pandemic.

Salah's father, Salah Ghaly, joined regional mayor Tarek Rahmy to officially open the centre last week.

Egypt forward Salah has previously paid for a girls' school, sports facilities, medical equipment and land to build a sewage treatment plant in Nagrig.

He has donated tons of food and helped to rebuild a bomb-damaged cancer hospital during the pandemic.
