Liverpool ace Origi expected in Italy next to complete AC Milan move

Liverpool striker Divock Origi is expected in Italy early next week as he prepares to sign for AC Milan.

The 27-year-old had an agreement with Milan to join as a free agent, per the Daily Mail.

He has turned down interest from Villarreal and other clubs around Europe to join the Italian champions.

Origi will compete with Olivier Giroud for a starting spot in Milan, given the long-term injury suffered by Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

At present, the Belgian is preparing for the Champions League final with Liverpool.

Origi has scored many important goals for the Reds, but most of them have come off the bench, as he is rarely a starter in important matches.
