Liverpool ace Mohamed Salah insists his success this season has come as no personal surprise.
He is a firm favourite on Merseyside after already scoring 28 goals in all competitions since leaving Roma at the end of last season.
Salah became the fastest Liverpool player in history to 20 Premier League goals on Sunday during the 2-2 draw against Tottenham.
"I don't want to seem arrogant! But yeah, I expected it [on scoring a lot of goals]," he told FourFourTwo.
"When I was in Rome, I was comfortable there. I had two good seasons there. I was happy.
"I always try to take another chance. I always put myself under pressure.
"I didn't play for Chelsea when I was here three years ago. I came back here to show my football. I think I'm doing well."
