Liverpool ace Sadio Mane has declared themselves favourites for the Champions League final against Tottenham next Saturday.

Mane, speaking to Telefoot, insists now is not the time for false modesty.

"The final is one game, it will be different from the championship (Premier League)," he declared.

"Why hide it? I think we are favourites."

Mane also revealed how manager Jurgen Klopp's motivational powers were at their best for the semifinal second-leg win over Barcelona.

He added: "Before the match (against Barça), I had never seen the coach like that. Jürgen Klopp motivated us, but he even did not believe it, honestly."
