Liverpool ace Sadio Mane insists he and Mohamed Salah are good friends.

Reports of a rift between the attacking pair emerged after Mane reacted angrily towards Salah for failing to deliver a pass to him against Burnley on August 31.

Asked by an Egyptian reporter about the superstar after beating Monterrey 2-1 in the FIFA Club World Cup, Mane gave a clear response and urged the people of Egypt to continue supporting their superstar.

"What do you say about Salah?", Mane was asked by an Egyptian reporter in video shared on social media.

"Very, very good friends. The Egyptian King!" He replied.

In follow-up, he was asked: "No problem?".

"What kind of problem?" Mane replied with a smile, adding: "People, keep supporting Salah. He is doing everything for Egypt and he keeps fighting for Egypt, so see you soon in Egypt!"
