Liverpool ace Alexander-Arnold expecting tough Champions League quarter-final draw

Trent Alexander-Arnold thinks Liverpool should expect to draw a tough Champions League quarter-final opponent.

The Reds will find out their opponents on March 18 after eliminating Inter Milan in the round of 16 phase.

When aked if it could be the toughest group of teams to reach the latter stages, Alexander-Arnold said: "Yes, I think that's what we expect. Going into this competition, you look at four, five or six teams that can win it.

"And the further you get into it, by the last eight that's when you get down to the most elite teams. There are no lucky teams in there anymore, you are down to the ones who have earned it.

"These are the ones who can probably win it from this point. We are all looking forward to the draw so hopefully we can see it through."

Alexander-Arnold added: "We are in an amazing position of being able to get our hands on the first trophy of the season and be in a strong position in the other three competitions.

"Two exciting quarter-finals to look forward to and a cup final every weekend in the league. It's exciting times to be at the club, and hopefully if everybody stays fit we will be able to see it through."
