Former Aston Villa boss Brian Little can still see the club seeking offers for their 'Bomb Squad'.
Darren Bent, Alan Hutton, Charles N'Zogbia and Shay Given all made their first appearances for more than a year in Thursday night's friendly victory at Mansfield.
"I think personal pride would see people want to do well," Little told the Birmingham Mail.
"People have bad spells. I'm not sure how those players will react. I still think that they would be available.
"I'm quite sure that at this moment in time if clubs wanted them then they would be available."
