Jari Litmanen is back in training with Fulham ahead of Saturday's home clash with Manchester United after the veteran Finn had returned home amid reports of a heart scare.
At the weekend Fulham's former Finland manager Roy Hodgson - who signed Litmanen at Craven Cottage last month on a contract until the end of the season - said Litmanen, a European Cup winner with Dutch giants Ajax in 1995, had gone home "needing some rest".
But now a Fulham spokesperson has confirmed Litmanen is back in action.
The spokesperson admitted: "He did have some minor palpitations and I suppose you can call that a heart scare but he had everything checked out, there was nothing serious and he went back to Finland for a few days. He is back again now - out there training."
