Lisandro clashed with Ajax chief Hamstra to force Man Utd move: You f******* nobody!

Lisandro Martinez clashed furiously with Ajax chief Gerry Hamstra to force through his move to Manchester United this summer, it has been revealed.

De Telegraaf says the Argentina international went nose-to-nose with Hamstra, calling him a "f****** nobody" in a bid to let him out of Ajax to reunite with Erik ten Hag, the then newly appointed manager at Old Trafford this summer.

Martinez was frustrated at Ajax for wishing to retain his services, and this feeling led the defender to swear at 52-year-old Hamstra, before declaring that the departure of former technical director Marc Overmars had left him "alone" at the Dutch club.

The 24-year-old's five-year-deal in England was confirmed a few days after the spat, after drawn out negotiations between the European giants concluded.
