Lingard reacts to Young Boys mistake: I hope people understand what Man Utd means to me

Manchester United ace Jesse Lingard has addressed his mistake which to Young Boys grabbing the win in their Champions League clash.

The Englishman had a night to forget after coming on as a late substitute, with his errant back-pass allowing Jordan Siebatcheu to score a stoppage-time winner.

In a tweet, the United midfielder wrote: "Last night hurt. Every time I pull on the shirt, I hope people understand what it means to me.

"I always go out wanting to do the best for the club, the team and the fans.

"I'm upset for my part in the defeat. Mistakes happen in football but we pick ourselves up and go again."
