Former Tottenham striker Gary Lineker has attacked Dutchman Vincent Janssen.
Janssen joined Spurs from AZ Alkmaar in the summer but has struggled to reproduce the form that saw him crowned the Eredivisie's top scorer last season in his new surroundings.
The 22-year-old has scored three goals in 23 appearances for the north Londoners but is yet to hit the net from open play after drawing a blank in yesterday's 2-0 victory over Aston Villa.
Janssen's career at White Hart Lane is still in it's' infancy but Lineker fears the Dutchman's progress does not compare favourably with Roberto Soldado's record.
"He's looking a bit like a poor man's Soldado at the moment. But you do feel for him a little bit," Lineker told the BBC.
