Anders Lindegaard expects Joe Hart to win over Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola.
The Preston North End keeper believes Hart's work with the feet is good enough.
Lindegaard, speaking exclusively to 888Sport, said: "Distribution is super important. It depends on who your manager is and how he wants to play but you can imagine for Pep Guardiola distribution is more important than being able to save the ball.
"It will be fascinating whether Pep brings his thinking from other clubs over here or if he adapts them to suit English football but no matter what it will be important that his keeper is good with the ball and is the cornerstone of the team.
“But I don't think that Joe Hart has bad distribution. He has a good kick on him and does it well out of his hands. He is maybe not the most natural footballer as other goalkeepers but he's a good distributor of the ball."
