Lille striker Victor Osimhen admits turning down Arsenal as a teenager.
Manchester United have been strongly linked with Osimhen by reports in France with Liverpool, Barcelona, Arsenal and Tottenham amongst a growing list of reported admirers.
Osimhen has had a big move before, leaving the Ultimate Strikers Academy in Nigeria for Bundesliga side Wolfsburg amid a host of interest in 2017.
The then-teenager rejected Arsenal in the £3million move, explaining his desire to play first-team football upon completing his transfer.
Following the move, he said: "There were many clubs that were interested in me.
"But my choice was Wolfsburg because I think that my development opportunities are highest here.
"If I had gone to Arsenal, for example, I might not have found the route to the first team so quickly."
