Lille star Nicolas Pepe has landed in London for an Arsenal medical.

Sky Sports says he has arrived in London for a medical ahead of his proposed transfer to Arsenal.

The highly-rated Lille forward touched down on UK soil on Tuesday to undergo the final stages of his proposed £72 million switch.

Arsenal are set to break their transfer record to land the 24-year-old, who has attracted interest from a number of clubs including Liverpool and Manchester United this summer.

A deal between the Gunners and Lille is already said to have been reached, which would surpass Arsenal's reported summer transfer budget of £45 million.

Pepe will become Arsenal boss Unai Emery's fourth signing of the summer should the deal be completed.
