Lille president Gerard Lopez has again played down the presence of Jose Mourinho.

The former Manchester United manager has been spotted at several LOSC home games since the New Year sitting alongside sports director Luis Campos.

Lopez said: "Why do we regularly see José Mourinho in the Lille stand? But just look at the list of clubs that send scouts to all our games.

"It's the centre of European football. We are the most scouted club in France. José Mourinho is a friend of Luis, but it is a pride that he is there and that he speaks well of what he sees in the team of Christophe (Galtier).

"As he will not stay long without a club, he also looks at particular players."
