Lille president Lopez claims deal 'almost done' for Man Utd, Liverpool target Pepe

Lille president Gerard Lopez says Nicolas Pepe has almost sealed his exit from the club.

Several clubs have been linked with the Ivory Coast international, however, none of those potential suitors - Manchester United, Arsenal, Inter Milan and Liverpool - have publicly declared their interest.

We'll soon know where Pepe will go, according to Lopez, who says a deal for the 24-year-old is near completion.

"Our work is done," he said.

"In terms of departures and arrivals, if a player leaves, we will go and get what we need.

"For Nico, it is almost done and he could have left last summer.

"It is true that there are big offers and big clubs in for him, so I think (he will leave). Aside from that, you never know in football."
