Lille are eyeing Everton goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg.

France Football says Lille are weighing up making a move for experienced Everton goalkeeper Stekelenburg.

The 35-year-old Dutchman would come in to provide first-choice stopper Mike Maignan but the club have also been offered Galatasaray's Cedric Carrasso.

Stekelenburg, however, is unlikely to be allowed to leave after the departure of Joel Robles.

The former Southampton and Ajax stopper's departure would leave Everton without a recognised back-up apart from U23s stopper Mateusz Hewelt.
