Lille defender Jose Fonte says Nicolas Pepe's future belongs in England.

The Ivory Coast attacker is being linked with Barcelona, along with Manchester United and Arsenal.

Fonte, formerly of Southampton and West Ham, said: "For me, it's England.

"I think it's possible for him, anything is possible for him. He has talent for that."

Pepe, 23, has been mentioned as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's intended first signing once he is confirmed as fulltime United manager.
