Lille coach Garcia wishes Arsenal, Chelsea target Hazard kept trap shut

Lille coach Rudi Garcia admits Eden Hazard's decision to go public with plans to leave in June weren't ideal.

The Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea target announced this week he would quit Lille at the end of the season.

"Hazard's words? I have no problem with the content," Garcia told France Football.

"He has only repeated what everyone has known for a while. The timing was not the best.

"It was, however, the journalists that set the timing. Someone mentioned a French club being interested in Eden and he replied. He did it in a good way."
