Lille chief Armand: Our players will embrace Chelsea occasion

Lille sports chief Sylvain Armand says they're happy with their Champions League draw against Chelsea.

Lille will meet Chelsea in the round of 16 later in the season.

Armand said: "It's a great show for the players, the club, the supporters and the city. We know it will be complicated against the defending champion. It's going to be a big show for us, but football is all about exploits. We will do our best to try to relive a historic moment.

"In the round of 16, we knew that all games were going to be difficult, but taking Chelsea is the Holy Grail. It is a very prestigious chance. Personally, I am not unhappy to take them, being honest.

"I think it's playable. We have experienced players like Renato (Sanches), Burak (Yilmaz), José (Fonte). It's a good game to play. I believe in the feat and I hope that all the people of Lille believe in it, otherwise, there is no point in playing these two games.

"When you are a competitor, you ask to play this kind of match. The players will therefore get in tune, and I hope the stadium will be full for this great show."
