New Levante signing Marco Storari admits he had to leave AC Milan to kickstart his career.

The Italian goalkeeper has joined Levante on-loan and said: "I didn't have a place at Milan. It was impossible to dislodge Dida. At Levante, instead, I am ready to fight to be first-choice.

"I know Levante players like Molina and Tommasi. Also Cirillo has told me good things about the club and the team."
