Levante goalkeeper Marco Storari has announced he's quitting the Spanish Liga club for a move to Cagliari.

"Everything is agreed between myself, Cagliari and Milan. All we need is the signature from the President of Levante," he explained.

"I have not been called up for the Copa del Rey match, so I hope the transfer can be completed over the weekend."

Although the spell at Levante lasted only six months, Storari has fond memories of the Spanish side.

"You may not believe me, but the only thing that didn't work out in my choice was money, as the club was in financial difficulty and couldn't pay me.

"There are some wonderful people here who were honest with us, but working without pay is a difficult situation to be in."
