Leroy Sane is handing Manchester City a fresh contract headache.

Ilkay Gundogan is now inside the final 18 months of his deal, with Sane also handing City a dilemma.

City have more leeway as he still has another two years to go but talks spread over several months have yet to reach a conclusion.

Gundogan, 28, would command a fee of at least £30million this summer — or he could walk away for free in 18 months' time.

Reports of a potential transfer ban for City will do nothing to ease the club's concern over the pair.
