AC Milan coach Leonardo insists they can still haul in Serie A leaders Inter this season.

Inter are seven points clear of Juventus and Sampdoria, while Milan are nine points adrift of the leaders.

Leonardo says: "For a club like Milan it is impossible not to think about the Scudetto, it's in our DNA. People said the race was over because Inter play well and are so strong, but there's a long way to go yet.

"The team with the most consistency will get back into the running. The club has made it very clear that our main objective is the Champions League, the rest will be evaluated as time goes on."
