AC Milan sporting director Leonardo has confirmed the club have weighed up an offer for Cesc Fabregas.
The Chelsea midfielder will become a free agent at the end of the season, despite expressing an interest in remaining at Stamford Bridge. It is believed the west London club are not willing to offer him a long-term contract.
Fabregas has revealed he has not spoken with any other clubs, but he will be free to sign a pre-contract agreement with foreign outfits next month.
And Leonardo has confirmed that Milan could be one of them.
He said: "We evaluated it, considering the possibility, but didn't go all in.
"We are still evaluating the conditions."
