Leonardo Bonucci admits this Juventus team are experiencing something new as they find themselves in a genuine title fight.

The 32-year-old says the Old Lady are using the festive period to “recover" after defeat in the Supercoppa and trailing at the top of Serie A to Inter Milan.

“It's too bad, it was a trophy we cared about," he said.

"We faced a team who proved to be superior with regards to previous years.

“The winners deserve credit. We will try to recover physically during the break. In 2020, there are a lot of important games waiting for us."
