AC Milan chief Leonardo admits there was disappointed after their draw with Atalanta.
Gonzalo Higuain and Jack Bonaventura struck for Milan, which conceded an equaliser in injury-time.
Leonardo lamented: "It happened also in other games, the regret remains because there are many positive things, but the management of the 90 minutes becomes difficult and this is crucial.
"There are still many good things we do, but we have to improve in others, in such games we had to bring home the three points.
"It is not an excuse, but if we look at Milan over the last five years it is far from the top of the table, it is normal to lose the conviction of a great team. Today we could not close the first half at 2-0, we have to change.
"It's normal, after years in those areas, thinking that traveling in the first four is a distant thing. I am convinced that with this squad we can better manage these situations on an emotional level and close these games that would put us in a different situation."
