Lennon hoping to tie up Zaluska to new Celtic deal

Celtic manager Neil Lennon is positive that the club and goalkeeper Lukasz Zaluska can come to an agreement regarding a contract extension.

The 29-year old Pole, who plays back-up to Fraser Forster, is coming out of contract and Lennon is hoping t keep him on the books at Parkhead despite his desire to play regular first team football.

"I have had a chat with Lukasz this week and I'll speak to him again early in the week and hopefully we can get it resolved," Lennon said.

"I don't think we're far away now. I hope he will sign. We would like to keep him.

"He is very good back-up and a great professional as well. Whenever he comes in he does a good job for me."
