Lennon expects positive reaction from Celtic

Celtic boss Neil Lennon is imploring his side to produce a winning display when they return to Scottish Premier League action on the weekend.

The Hoops were eliminated from the Scottish Cup by Aberdeen on Saturday but get the chance to atone for that disappointment when they host St Johnstone on Sunday in a bid to extend their 24-game unbeaten streak in the league.

Celtic View.

"We might need to look at other players to freshen things up a bit as we looked a bit flat for some reason and I don't know why, as that hasn't been evident in the last month or so.

"We have a title to win and an unbeaten record to preserve but we did want the Scottish Cup, and we did prepare very well for it, though the performance didn't reflect it, and that´s something we need to look at."
