Leicester City winger Marc Albrighton has backed former Aston Villa teammate Christian Benteke to soon prove his worth for Liverpool.
The Belgian arrived at Anfield in a £32.5million summer move from Villa but he has scored just seven goals in 29 games for the Reds.
Bennett once again failed to make any impact during his second-half substitute appearance in Tuesday's 2-0 defeat to the Foxes.
When asked about Benteke's struggles, Albrighton said: "He seems fine, I think he is enjoying life there.
"Things may not be going the way he'd want them to be going but he is a great fella and I wish him all the best.
"I remember him from my time at Villa and the one season he kept us up by himself.
"He is a fantastic player, a proven Premier League player, just because he is not scoring goals I am sure they will come and he will prove to be a big hit for Liverpool."
