Leicester whizkid Barnes delighted with debut season

Leicester youngster Harvey Barnes is delighted with his impact this season.

The 21-year-old returned from a loan spell and had a fantastic season for the Foxes. He made 16 appearances, scored a goal and got two assists since coming back from West Bromwich Albion.

Barnes hopes that he can kick on and do even better next season.

"I've been really pleased," he told LCFCTV.

"I came back in January and I feel like I have had a lot of game time, which is really pleasing.

"I obviously got my first goal.

"To finish the season well...some good results against some tough sides is obviously great.

"We spoke about that a lot [ending season on a high].

"Not just to finish the season well, but we're looking at next season now. We've got a great platform.

"We'll obviously have a good pre-season with the manager and I'm sure he's got a lot for us to work on as well."
