Leicester City are weighing up a bid for Aston Villa fullback Matt Targett.

The Foxes are trying to find a replacement for Ben Chilwell, who joined Chelsea this week.

And the Daily Star says Targett is an option for Brendan Rodgers.

The 24-year-old joined Villa from Southampton last summer for £15m.

He made 32 appearances for the Midlands club in his debut campaign.
