Leicester City veteran Christian Fuchs has welcomed the approach of manager Brendan Rodgers.

Fuchs penned a new deal with the Foxes last month.

"When Brendan Rodgers came in, he had conversation with all the older generation players," he told the Box-to-Box Podcast.

"He said that we can help those young players overcome different experiences. We have the experiences and they are looking up to us. We can be helpful with our experience.

"He also wants to help the older players extend their career because he knows that eventually, he will rely on us. From those players, they were all part of the 5000/1 history-making season.

"He knows how important those players are. They may not play all the time anymore, but we will still give our best."
