Leicester City veteran Marc Albrighton believes they're capable of success in the Europa League this season.
Title-winner Albrighton was part of the Foxes' side who reached the Champions League quarter-finals in 2017.
He scored City's first-ever goal in the competition at Club Brugge and then notched against Sevilla to reach the last eight.
Now he insists Brendan Rodgers' squad are taking the Europa League very seriously too as they aim to wrap up top spot tonight in Group G at home to AEK Athens behind closed doors.
Albrighton,31, who joined Leicester in 2014, said: “I do think the Europa League is going to be special this year.
“We are looking to do really well in it and go as far as we can.
“That will create special moments during games.
“We as a group of players are just as determined as we would be in the Champions League with a full stadium.
“We have a platform to create something special and put ourselves further in Leicester folklore.
“We have spoken about what a good opportunity it is for us.
“We have seen English clubs do well in it in previous years.
“We are looking to do the same.
“We have a big squad here and if we were just fighting on one front it would decrease game time and leave players unhappy."
