Leicester City are taking a close look at Nuneaton Borough striker Taylor Allen.
The Leicester Mercury says the 18-year-old forward was selected to start City Under-23s' Premier League 2 fixture with Tottenham on Friday night.
Allen only joined National League side Nuneaton in January, arriving from Birmingham outfit Romulus after scoring a hat-trick in a trial match.
Since jumping up four tiers to Nuneaton, Allen has made seven appearances, notching an assist on his competitive debut to earn the man of the match award.
He is the second trialist to turn out for City Under-23s this year after Ali Reghba, of Bohemians, made a big impression in January.
