Leicester City plan to buy inside the Premier League to replace Harry Maguire.
With Maguire finally landing his dream £80m move to Manchester United, the Foxes now face a race to boost their central defensive options.
Sky Sports says Leicester are considering either Burnley's James Tarkowski or Bournemouth defender Nathan Ake to replace Maguire.
The Foxes have had informal conversations about both players with Burnley prepared to do business on Tarkowski.
Bournemouth are reluctant to let Ake leave because he is central to Eddie Howe's plans this season.
